BOARD MEETINGS 

 AAUW-Dearborn 2025-26 regular Monthly Board Meetings from (September-June) and are held at 7:00 pm on first Tuesday -September through June.  Location: Dearborn Historical Museum/McFadden Ross House 915 Brady St. Dearborn 48124. All members are invited to attend.  Agendas will be forwarded before each meeting. 

MONTHLY MEMBERSHIP MEETINGS/PROGRAMS

Monthly Membership Meetings/Programs (September-May) are planned and facilitated by the affiliate Program Committee.                  

Location:  Dearborn Historical Museum/McFadden Ross House on dates and times listed below.                                                           

Members, their guests, and the public are welcome to attend, unless otherwise noted.  Light refreshments are served by the Program Committee. Members will receive additional contact via email prior to each Meeting/Program.                                                                   

PARTICIPATE! 

Members are encouraged to attend all scheduled branch activities and programs. You may  invite a friend to visit us and learn more about our mission, our commitment, camaraderie, connections, and community initiatives. Members in need of transportation to programs or events should contact Membership VP Mary R. Nameth – 313 378 2132 by phone or text.

September 13   Welcome Membership Tea 

Open House Reception – Public Welcome  – 1:30 – 3:30 pm

October 1 – Book Sale Preview Party Fundraiser – 6 pm

October 3-5 Annual Used Book Sale    

October  15    Guest Dr. Kathleen Kalil – 6:30 – @ 8:00 pm –  Her life                       pathway in Dearborn, as an author, psychotherapist, and community activist.  Public Welcome!  Light refreshments.                                    

October 23 -Take Back the Night U of M-D, Against Sexual Violence  5:30 to 8pm in Kochoff Hall, Renick University Center at U of M-D main campus.

October 24, 2025 – A Spooktacular Halloween Meet and Greet          4:00-6:00 p.m. at Leon’s on Michigan Avenue, East of Telegraph.    Good food, good company, and lots of fun!

October 26-Track or Treat at Penn-Vassar Park 4-6pm          Community Connection and PR, donate and/or distribute candy.

November 12 – Military Women from Past to Present  6:30-8:00 p.m.    McFadden – Ross House, Guest Speakers,  Q & A.

December 13 – Holiday Luncheon and Mistletoe Mart                       12:00-3:00 pm Grecian Center 16300 Dix-Toledo Southgate 48195.

January 10    Required Annual Meeting – Members Only – 10:30 am

February 7    Cabin Fever – Mardi Gras – Public Welcome – 10:30 am        

March 7         The History of US – 6:30 pm

April 18          Fellowship Luncheon – 12:00 noon

April 29          Marge Powell Leadership Awards Ceremony – 6:00 pm

May 20           Installation of Officers Dinner – 6:00 pm

Meet and Greet Events

• A casual gathering at local venues from 4:00-@ 6:00 pm to chat, and get acquainted, and hear the latest affiliate news the last Friday of most months.  No meetings in November or December.

• Open to all members, guests, and those who want to learn more about us. Invitations emailed.

• Choice of menu, open seating, separate bills, and lots of laughs!
